I’m Rodrigo, a pianist and educator offering personalized piano lessons at home for students of all levels. With over 10 years of experience teaching at the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires and private students, I bring my experience to my lessons. I hold a Master’s in Piano from the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires and currently doing a Master's in Piano Chamber Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Liège and an Advanced Master in Contemporary Music from KASK Conservatorium Gent. My performances include solo and chamber music concerts at the Centro Cultural Kirchner and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, as well as international appearances at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Germany as the pianist of the Festival's Academic Orchestra. Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The teaching is modern, adapted to each student and combines music theory and instrument. Lessons at home or at the student's home (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse, Evere and other neighboring municipalities, occasionally in Walloon Brabant). Experienced didgeridoo player to teach how to play the instrument. I offer classes at my home or at the student's home, or in the open air if the weather is nice. I can teach you basics, advanced techniques, and structures to play well. I also have a lot of exercises to work specific muscles. Getting to make the sound is the first step. I have finished my Master's in piano specialization at the Royal Conservatory of Liège and piano accompaniment at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Giving concerts, making some recordings, working in both classical and contemporary music, and with more than 10 years of experience in teaching, I would be happy to share all my knowledge and enjoy the music together!

I have two Bachelor's degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and currently at the Koninklijke Conservatorium Brussels. I have a Master's degree with Olsi Leka, premier cellist of the Belgian National Orchestra. My courses are in Spanish, in Anglais et in french.

My method is based on serious and rigorous practice (while taking into account the student's ambitions) as well as learning most often by ear. This is indeed how music can be truly integrated over the long term. I would be delighted to work with serious and determined students.

During my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.

Lessons in piano, harpsichord, and historical and modern cello, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, coordination, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history. In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the teaching tradition of partimenti of the old Neapolitan conservatories - exercises for composing that can be applied from early stage. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony and polyphony. Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes. English, Nederlands, française, Deutsch. I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello organ, and piano.

My singing lessons are designed to help each student express themselves to the fullest, accompanying them in the process of discovering their own voice. I give in-person and online voice lessons for students of all levels and needs with a personalized curriculum depending on the student's interests and style preference. During my lessons I range from vocal technique to music theory with the intent of creating a personal and varied repertoire that follows the aptitude and predisposition of the student.
