Geography: Understanding Our Complex and Changing World

I have been tutoring Geography for a decade to pupils of all ages and abilities. I tutor primary and secondary school pupils (KS1-KS5) and I can help you prepare for GCSE Geography & A-level Geography examinations. My goal is to help you reach your academic goals and enjoy learning the subject.

General sessions have 8 levels of learning (vocabulary and grammar), and business language has 4. No machine can replace the human spark: spirit, compassion, love, and understanding. Academic learning is divided into three parts. Spoken language such as diction, acting on stories or poems, public speaking, debates and discussions, etc. Reading exercises (C1) such as the main idea, supporting details, the author's purpose, organisation and text structures, the audience, evaluating arguments, drawing conclusions, tone and mood, meaning of words and phrases, figurative language, graphic structures of information, elements of fiction, etc. Grammar and sentence structure (C1) such as the parts of speech, constructing sentences, capitalization, common language errors, the essay, writing a thesis statement, structuring the essay, providing supportive evidence, writing well, postpositions, phrasal verbs, idiomatic expressions, etc.

Class Title : Mastering the Basics of Physics Class Description: In this comprehensive physics course, students will delve into the core principles and concepts that govern the physical world. Through engaging lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities, students will develop a deep understanding of: - Motion and Kinematics - Forces and Newton's Laws - Energy and Work - Momentum and Collisions - Electricity and Magnetism - Waves and Oscillations Students will learn to apply mathematical tools and problem-solving strategies to analyze and solve real-world physics problems. By the end of this course, students will have a solid foundation in physics and be prepared for advanced topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

I can prepare young children for examinations, and share knowledge I have from my own journey through SAT's, GCSE's and A level/IB examinations where I achieved high grades. From 11+ exams to IB diploma exams I am available to aid young learnerws on their journeys to achievement and success and would love to be a pivotal factor in this. In my opinion, Geography is one of the most important subjects to study as it gives a global perspective on current, real life matters. It also drastically improves one’s ability for impressive dinner party conversation ;) I can break down and explain all topics of school geography in a simple, accessible way. I understand that some complex concepts can be hard to grasp in a classroom, thus I can identity where students may be falling down with their understanding and tackle those areas first. Both Human and Physical Geography require a specific style of essay writing that took me a while to master, but going through that process has helped me to teach exam techniques in a straightforward way. I can create custom presentations for students and walk them through content they may be struggling with, or go over school work that needs elaborating. My teaching style values the personal engagement of the student so that they may form independent opinions and ideas that will make them excel.
