In these neuro-divergent times, the binary division of "one language or two" in bilinguals is perhaps due some contestation, which students are capable of providing. I have always found bilingual production models (and the ubiquitous Powerpoint slide) that university teachers provide a hindrance because of their lack of explicitness and discussion - they are just not relatable as presented nor do they provide much information or examples for monolingual students. Code-switching, a by-product of bilingualism, is now a term that is even found in minority-ethnic neighbourhood grafitti ("can white people code-switch" a found example). Please note that this is a linguistic term, used for switching between two languages, and not between local or social varieties of English. My personal position is that there is no such thing as bilingualism: there is always a language that suffers attrition, and one language that prevails, mostly because of its prestigious standing over the other language. On the other hand, a child exposed to more than one language cannot be truly monolingual. For this course (very popular at universities around Europe both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) we shall go through the terms used to discuss bilingualism, in detail, and then discuss, with the help of published books and articles, who can be considered bilingual (or are we all, one other language lying dormant?). Can bilingualism be defined by the speaker, instead of the "community"? Can it be imposed by the State? Does a bilingual brain function in the same manner as a monolingual brain? These are research questions that emerge as dissertation or thesis topics both at undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Psychology has become a sought-after course in recent years, with more and more children enrolling in it either in school or when they go to university. However, a lot of educational institutions focus solely on the theoretical perspective of psychology and techniques associated with therapy, with little to no impact on the real world being assessed. As a practitioner and student in the field, I like to combine theory and practicality when I teach. This helps the child learn the concept better with an actual experience. I feel that experience-based learning makes concept learning and understanding more effective. I will also help in framing answers for the exam-based questions and will also look into taking practice papers for the same. When it comes to languages, both English and Hindi have been a pivotal part of my schooling, and Hindi is spoken at home to this day. I believe that grammar and spoken English are at the top of the pedestal, and it is with confidence building that we can work on understanding English as a language. Hindi too as a language will require greater grammatical understanding so as to make the writing part of it more effective. As your tutor, I will tap onto all aspects, writing, speaking, and grammar, so that we leave no stone unturned and help you progress in this avenue better.

A-Level Psychology, Sociology and English Language along with GCSE essay subjects can be very daunting at first, however, with my structures and tailored lessons in light of the elements and topics you are experiencing difficulty with, I am confident that I will be able to support you in achieving the top grade band (A*-B). Whether it is memorisation of content at A-Level, exam technique or application, as an individual who achieved A*'s and A's throughout GCSE and A Level, I know exactly what it feels like to have to memorise and give an exam for a difficult subject and can thus work closely with you to support, aid and direct you to unlocking your full potential.

The onset of globalisation has made English the main spoken language for communication. Speaking fluent English is an imperative skill required to make socio-economic progress. I am currently a masters student at LSE, who was raised speaking the language. In addition to my fluency in English, I also can teach social sciences, as it is my field of expertise.

I teach both english and danish for both school, which includes grammar, but also for assignments and for every day use. I teach social studies, for all ages and levels. The course, ' What is sociology?’, is taken from a textbook. The textbook comprehensively explores sociology, aimed at both students and educators. It explores various aspects of sociology and provides a rich understanding of social structures and institutions and their impact on human behavior and the organization of society. The course follows the same lines as my textbook (which can be found on Amazon in French and English). The course is organized into 14 modules as follows: 1. Introduction to Sociology 2 . The Future of Sociology 14 . Conclusion: A Reflective Journey Through Sociology Every time, the teacher starts by presenting the topic. The students are required to take notes. Then, we start the questions and answers to ensure the students understand what was said. Then, we summarize, and that ends the session. NB: There will also be a distribution of references for further reading on the subject. Overall, the course provides a theoretical foundation for understanding key sociological concepts and their application to analyze and resolve societal complexities. It will be supplemented by practical exercises in content analysis, text intelligence, etc.
