Knowing how to defend yourself is such an important skill to have in this modern world.
This class is here to provide you knowledge about different techniques (blocks, Punches & Kicks) that are used in karate and in self defence. In these lessons, I aim to help build your confidence in yourself and aim to provided awareness in how to avoid situations that could lead to harm. This will be done in an exciting lesson filled with a little fitness, some Japanese phrases and a lot of karate techniques.

Hello, Megan here :)I am a Second Dan Black belt & Senior karate Instructor from The Southern England School of Karate, a karate school based in the UK.
I have have been learning karate since I was 7 years old and it is a big part of my life. I have competed in national, international competitions, as well as six world championships, achieving a tally of medals - gold, silver & bronze in both individual and team events.
I hope I can help by taking you through some basic self defence and inspire you to give karate a go.
