I am a student of Classical Philology at the University of Valencia, with great teaching skills and ease of explanations. Latin, Ancient Greek, English and Spanish are the foundations of the study of the humanities in Spain. Classical languages are essential to be able to understand our language and a great help in learning other languages. My teaching methodology is to consolidate the foundations of the subject with simple but well-explained examples, with the aim of improving the understanding of languages from their roots.

You don't need to have any knowledge of the Greek Language. You need only a PC and good internet connection. You don't have to buy any books or materials. You need only appetite to learn and to be present at the lessons. I will send everything you need about the lessons. My lessons are adjustable to your time to study. If you don't have time to study at home, don't worry. A lot of adults work or have children and is difficult for them to spend time at home studying. I will explain grammar, we will do together exercises, speaking, listening, vocabulary exercises and we will read texts. Also, videos and on line games will be provided to you. I am not strict as a teacher and I am very flexible about the schedule.

Applications for Classics at Oxford and Cambridge both involve a language assessment, for which I provide expert tutoring and guidance in as a first-class Classics and English graduate from Oxford. Classics at Oxford uses the Classics Admissions Test (CAT) for Course I (for students with Latin/Greek to A Level) or the Classical Language Aptitude Test (CLAT) for Course II (for students without Latin/Greek) to decide who will be invited for interview. At Cambridge only candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to take such assessment, which will be a translation exercise for the 3-year course, or a language aptitude interview for the 4-year. All assessments involve careful application of linguistic knowledge, whether of classical languages or English, which I will ensure you are extremely well-prepared to do. Applicants are also required to submit two pieces of written work prior to interview, which I am able to advise about if requested.

I am about to finish my studies on German Language and Literature (Linguistik) at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
