Trusted teacher: Singing lessons for all levels and age. For beginners, together we can discover the range of your voice and build the breathing and singing technique. At the same time we will work on music theory, ear training and how to read a score. For mature singers, we can delve into the singing technique and interpretation and add pieces in your repertoire. The lessons are provided both online and in person and can be held in English or Greek. I also speak some Italian and German. About me I have been playing the piano for 15 years. I have studied Classical Singing in the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata (Greece) and I have followed a two-year Early Music Programme in Athens Conservatoire. At the same time I studied Music Theory (Harmony) at the Greek National Conservatoire from which I gained my Harmony degree. In addition, I have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Here in The Netherlands, I finished my masters at the Utrechts Conservatorium and worked as a singer at the NKK NXT 2022-2023. I have participated in Operas (“Julius Cesar”- 2015 in Athens Concert Hall and “Alcina”-2019 in Odeon of Herodes Atticus) as a member of a vocal ensemble and I have also performed as a soloist in many concerts. Some of the stages I have performed are: Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg, Schouwburg Concertzaal Tilburg, Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

Trusted teacher: I believe everyone can sing, and it is one of the most extraordinary and fun things to do! Hello everyone! My name is Marion and I come from France. I have been a musician for as long as I can remember. I started when I was a kid as a trumpet player. I played in many different kinds of orchestras and had a lot of fun with this instrument, but it was nothing compare to my love for singing! This is why I decided to become a professional opera singer and I want to share my passion about singing! What do I offer? Classical singing lessons for all levels with a focus on opera, songs, oratorio and choir repertoire. I am based in Utrecht. You are welcome to come to my place, but I can also come to the students. Lessons can be taught in English or in French, but I also speak a little bit of Dutch. What will you learn? The fundamental elements of classical singing such as breathing, posture and resonances for example but also styles, pronunciation, interpretation and repertoire. An important aspect I want to approach in a singing lesson is how to help you find your own voice, both in a technical and in an interpretative sense. I can also guide you with anything solfège related like how to use and read a score or how to learn a song by heart. What is my philosophy about singing and pedagogy? I believe the best way to develop and improve a skill is when the students feel that they are in a safe place where they can dare to experiment but also have fun. Nowadays, I am a freelance soprano working in the Netherlands and in Belgium as a soloist and as a choir singer. I often participate in productions with the choir of the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Antwerp or the Groot Omroepkoor in Hilversum. I was one of the laureates of the edition 2020/2021 of the Dutch Classical Talent Tour & Award, and I recently won the Handel Choir Jubilee Award.

Trusted teacher: From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
