Trusted teacher: About me My name is Tom and I obtained my master's degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about topics such as business economics, economics, finance and accounting with everyone I mentor! During and after my studies I worked at an investor, investment bank and scientific research institute, and I am currently setting up my own company. I have been tutoring regularly since 2020; both to high school students and to adults pursuing a master's degree. About my coaching If you are struggling with a specific topic, we can see together what you are good at and what we can best focus on during the sessions. Some courses that I have supervised in the past are: business economics, economics, mathematics, bookkeeping/accountancy, cost accounting, managerial accounting, financial accounting, business economics (beco), risk management and investments. I provide advice on learning methods, how to best prepare for the subject and how to best read test questions. This method turns out to be very effective! Tom had given economie lessen to both my children that are on the middle bar school. My kids were lost, going very bad specially in economie and with limited understanding at school lessons. I decided to hire Tom, was difficult to find someone that give lessons to teenagers and that was knowledged. Tom has been with us the last months, my kids began understanding better, getting the point and scoring better at school. Sometimes I could overhear the online lessons or even 'live lessons' when he came home. Tom is great, with lots of patience, straight to the point, know how to explain, never lose the temper. We are very happy and will certainly recommend him. He is very professional and can motivate the students in a very good way. Thanks Tom!
