Trusted teacher: Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. Obviously passionate about my favorite instrument, I am just as passionate about music theory. From baroque counterpoint to jazz harmony, from classical orchestration to digital music publishing, I have always thought that understanding the sound universe multiplies perspectives, opens up new horizons! My method is simple and has always proven to be effective: working in symbiosis with pure instrumental technique and the general understanding of music, its cogs which seem to the novice musician so mysterious. In addition to basic instrument learning, I also teach: 🎸️ Experimental instrumental techniques 🎸️ Work of virtuosity 🎸️ Picking game 🎤️ How to go well with singing 🎵️ Arrangement 🎵️ Composition 🎵️ Harmony (classical or jazz) 🎵️ Improvisation 💻️ MAO (Computer Aided Music) Exploring musical styles: #Pop #EXP #Classique #Electro #Jazz #Jazz Manouche #Art & Hard Rock #Chanson Française #Blues #Funk (60's / 70's) 🎥️ Possibility of lessons by webcam ️🇬🇧️ I also speak English 🏡️ I give lessons mainly at my home: Châtelain district in Ixelles, many transport nearby: 🚊️ bus (54), tram (92, 94, 81.) and metro (Louise). 🐸️ GREAT BEGINNERS welcome! (no prior knowledge necessary) See you soon !

Marianna - Saint-Gilles47€
Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, Μy name is Marianna and I am a concert artist and guitar tutor. I have nurtured a profound love for classical guitar since my childhood and commenced my musical journey at the age of 10. After attending the National Conservatory of Athens, I graduated with the highest honours. Furthering my studies, I joined the Royal Brussels Conservatory, where I undertook the Bachelor of Music programme under the tutelage of Antigoni Goni. Keen to explore different cultures and musical scenes, I opted to pursue further studies in Berlin, where I trained under Rainer Feldmann. Whilst studying at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, I cultivated a distinct passion for Baroque music and received tutelage in Baroque guitar and theorbo from Sam Chapman. During my studies, I provided private guitar tutoring and also taught at a state music school in Berlin/Brandenburg for five years from September 2018 until August 2023. During this time, I created and oversaw a guitar class of more than 35 students of diverse ages and skill levels. To complement my teaching methodology, I formed three guitar ensembles, ranging from trios to quintets, which incorporated chamber music. After at least twelve years of teaching guitar to several children and adults, I firmly believe that students should have hands-on experience with the instrument from their very first lesson, and at the same time be introduced to music theory. I follow a method that emphasizes the development of critical basics in my students to enable them to comprehend music and the instrument through theory and solfeggio, utilizing scores instead of tablatures. Depending on the preferences of the student, we can explore a diverse range of repertoires, encompassing classical and folk genres, among others. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked effectively and efficiently with learners of all ages and experience levels, from complete novices to those readying themselves for university-level assessments (such as Grade 8 ABRSM). I am proficient in English, German, and Greek, and possess a rudimentary understanding of French. My music studio is located in Saint Gilles, Brussels, and is open to all interested learners. Thank you very much, Marianna

Trusted teacher: Who am I: Today a songwriter and producer of my musical project, I followed a complete course in classical guitar (finger style) as an adult in the academy and then spent a year at the Liège conservatory after passing the entrance exam. After this successful year, I decided to start my own musical project. What: Today I teach acoustic guitar accompaniment in a song-pop style. The guitar has become for me an instrument that I use on a DAILY basis to compose sketches of harmony before developing them with other instruments and recording them in my home studio. You: like to sing/compose and you want to be able to accompany yourself with the guitar throughout the repertoire of POP – ROCK songs or do you want to be able to accompany someone? You want to develop solid rhythmic – harmonic (chords) – melodic bases and work on your left hand/right hand technique in order to make it more flexible, more precise, more flexible; to finally be able to string together all these chords (in first position or in barre -reversal-) in rhythm or finger style (arpeggios) without thinking about it anymore, to be followed by someone who will give you a clear and complete learning structure? So keep reading. How: When we contact you, I will need to understand where you are in your learning journey. If you are a beginner, you can enter directly into the program which will help you progress in rhythm, harmony, melody and finger flexibility and which includes well-known titles from the pop/rock repertoire in each lesson. If you have the basics, we will pick up where you left off. You will then have to tell me what you like and what you like less so that you can get the best out of your existing course. Do not hesitate to contact me if this description speaks to you! French English

I'm a professional theorbo and guitar player and i give theorbo, guitar, music theory and solfege lessons (Brussels)
Giorgos
Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment. In short simply 10/10. Excellent professor! Definitely recommend him to those who want to learn or/and better their skills at the instrument.

Learn the guitar with an active performer and formally trained musician. (Brussels)
Nikos
This was my first meeting with Nikos and I found him to be very understanding and open to my aspirations and ambitions regarding the acoustic guitar. I look forward to being his student for a decent interval to reach my next level in playing classical guitar music.

Mehrad
Good lessons, explains complex concepts well, and gives clear goals. A lot of knowledge of different music styles too, so lot of possibilities to learn if you like different music styles.
