Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Christopher and I am currently studying Computer science at TU Delft. I am able to tutor in both Maths and Computer Science at any elementary or High school level and have experience teaching a range of syllabus. Qualifications: - A levels: -A* in Maths - A* in Computer Science - A* in Music - Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Experience: ZVEZA PRIJATELJEV MLADINE LJUBLJANA (ASSOCIATION FOR FRIENDS OF YOUTH) ZPM is an association in Slovenia that aims to help underprivileged children in many different ways including food packets, after-school clubs, and tutoring. I originally started as a volunteer in 2016 and since then I have helped countless students with their school work; most commonly in Maths but also other subjects like Physics, English, and Chemistry. Later my position developed into employment where I would run after school clubs to help the children build confidence and talk about their emotions, make fun programs for summer camps, and of course, I continued with tutoring many children GIRLS DO CODE Girls Do Code is an organization in Slovenia that aims to get more women into STEM, they believe that this interest has to start in childhood and therefore they offer lessons in Computer Science to over 300 girls. This cause was something that I thought was incredibly important and so I became a volunteer for their organization. This entailed teaching a group of 10 girls the basics of Computer Science in a fun and creative way and was a very rewarding experience. Through my training for Girls Do Code, I was certified by Microsoft as an Innovative Educator. I currently work as a Maths teaching assistant at an international school in the Netherlands where I work with children struggling with maths in small groups. Trusted teacher: Hello! Is your son/daughter struggling with the way his/her teacher is explaining things in class? Are they having difficulties keeping up with the learning pace or are they still struggling with understanding the basic principles? Do they have an issue with staying focused for prolonged periods of time, or do they simply not enjoy the subject at all? My name is Farris, and I am currently a 3rd-year Aerospace Engineering student studying at TU Delft. I have a strong international background, having lived most of my life outside the Netherlands and at international schools. Upon completing my secondary education at The International School of The Hague in 2020, I began tutoring students from the school who struggled with mathematics and physics and have been doing so ever since. My tutoring sessions often follow quite an unorthodox approach. As a younger student myself, I struggled massively with mathematics and physics at a younger age, mostly due to issues with focusing and understanding, as well as being diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Over the years I developed methods of dealing with such issues, and it is those methods that I use in my tutoring sessions to help students progress in their academics. I live near the Rotterdam Centrum area. Tutoring sessions can happen at my house, at public locations (Rotterdam Central Library), at the home of the student (depending on location), or online on a call. If a student is hesitant to learn one-on-one, or has a friend/classmate whom would also like to be tutored, dual sessions can take place whereby both students are tutored simultaneously. Feel free to send me a direct message if you have any questions or would like to book a session for your child!

Mathematics classes for IB MYP & DP Students - Let's make math a subject you are confident and excited about! (Rotterdam)
Anahit
Evie really enjoyed having a maths lesson with Anahit. Anahit was very communicative through the whole process and arranging. Anahit was able to identify why Evie was struggled and areas to focus on. Evie felt comfortable with Anahit which allowed Evie to be more receptive. It was a really simple process and I’m pleased that I arranged this for Evie. I also received information on what they had learned during the lesson. Thank you.
