During 2017 and 2018, he carried out numerous projects in South-East Asia where he was able to work for seven months. The most important of these is entitled The Faces of the Mekong. Using the mythical Mekong River and its resources as a common thread, it provides a broad perspective on the geo-environmental issues related to development in the Indochinese peninsula (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand). He has also focused on Vietnamese and Laotian youth through the prism of street sports and urban culture. In 2019, he travelled to Hong Kong to cover, among other things, the uprising of the pro-democracy movement, which earned him a nomination for the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents in the Young Reporter category. In parallel to his projects, Martin also responds to commissions from the press, NGOs and private companies. His work is regularly published in the French and international press (Le Monde, Libération, The Washington Post, Le Figaro, Vice, Reporterre, Mr Mondialisation, Fisheye Magazine). I booked a daily 90 minutes class for my son Nicolo' (16 years old) for 2 weeks. He was an absolute beginner and usually has a very limited enthusiasm for "extra-classes". Lucia was absolutely fantastic. She made the magic of creating a learning environment that was fun, friendly and effective at the same time. My son Nicolo' was so enthusiastic about the classed to the point that I could not believe it when he asked me to do more classes with Lucia after the 2 weeks. Lucia was good to teach with real life situation and not in an academic way. She was very good in explaining difficult concept in an easy way. Lucia is a very competent teacher and a trusted professional. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was very pleased with the inspired lesson Piotr gave me. He prepared his lesson, was accurate, full with new inspiration and very acquainted with various technics in Photoshop. He could communicate ( for me at my level) easily and was bringing me through several difficulties. Beside that he showed an deep insight in artistic approach of my artwork. Definitely worth it, Karin Hovius. Only I don't know if this is for the very beginner, you should be a little bit more advanced. But I am convinced that he can also manage beginners.

Excellent teaching skills. I had booked private lessons and Ton tailored every session exactly to my needs, and added even more. Beside photography, we discussed day-to-day technical topics such as back-up, storage, organising images, etc. You can see that Ton is used to being in a classroom - very structured and content focused. Excellent communication, always on time and also flexible to reschedule if needed. I will be back with more questions!
