Trusted teacher: Looking to improve your singing, gain confidence, and express yourself better? I am a voice teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching students from ages 5 to adults. I have taught over 40 students in all genres, classical, musical theatre, and pop, and have successfully prepared them for ABRSM and Trinity exams. I believe that singing is innate to all of us, and if you can speak, you can sing! My class structure depends on your goals and starting point. During your lesson, we will explore your vocal profile and your goals, and I will show some of the vocal exercises that may help you. You can also bring a song you like, and we can work on the vocal technique, text, and facial or body expression. You can then decide if we are a good fit for one another. A singing class for children is very different from a class for adults. For example, with younger children, we do more vocal exploration and movement, to ensure that they build a love for music and to protect their voice. With adults looking to audition for semi-professional to professional jobs, we work on building a practical practice plan for your own vocal gym. For vocational adult amateurs, we may work on more songs than vocal exercises. I have a Master of Music in Singing (Classical) at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, and previously graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Vocal Performance) from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. I've received training in contemporary pop singing style with Meredith Colby's Neuro-Vocal Method, and also believe in the body-based Alexander Technique method of posture alignment. I regularly go for voice teacher training to make sure I stay updated with factual, anatomy-based methods. Students say that I bring a high energy, productive structure, and a personable atmosphere to every class!

Trusted teacher: Hello there! Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood. I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument! Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions. I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation. At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing. About me Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020. I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. I am very happy with Dominyka as my voice teacher. With her guidance, I have been able to improve my tone and widen my range much quicker than expected. We chose Ms. Carlotta as a teacher for our 5-y.o., due to her solid experience in music and music education. What we didn't know back then, is that Ms. Carlotta has also an amazing personality, which inspired our son, and further guided him through the learning process. Our child is now promptly finishing his first study book, and he never wants to miss a piano lesson or his practice time. We feel blessed to have a music teacher such as Ms. Carlotta for our son, and we fully recommend her to anyone interested.

I've been putting off this review because I was afraid my review wouldn't be good enough to tell how great Anais is as a teacher! I've been taking lessons with her for more than 6 months now and my French has improved a lot since then. Before that I used to have classroom lessons that were "okay", but now I really feel that I'm making much more progress. Anais is a lovely person and her dynamic to teach is great, the time flies during the lessons. Totally recommend her!
