In my classes of English, Spanish or Dutch you will be talking immediately thanks to the specific pedagogy I use. I put you into your learning objective context and explain grammar 'by experience', using role plays, synonyms and explanations in the target language. Moreover, you will be using vocabulary straight away and progress significantly in this way. Specific technical language such as medical, biological, business or other language are possible too and will be agreed upon while we do the intake needs analysis by phone.

Prepare in an efficient, intensive way for the ITNA (Interuniversity Language Test Dutch), based on tailor-made exercises. We practice together on language in use, grammar and vocabulary, gap texts, structuring exercises, dictation, presentations and argumentation. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

Dutch is not an easy language. Certainly not if it is not the first language you learn. To make yourself understood, it is often easiest to fall back on English, but this stagnates your process of mastering the Dutch language. During this coaching session we lay a foundation. We map out your request for help and together we draw up a plan of action. The most important thing is that you feel at ease, that you enjoy the learning process and that you make progress with your language skills.
