I'm Georgian violinist, currently studying at the concervatory van Amsterdam. I have a lot of experience to play on stage as a soloist as well as in ensembles. I am winner of many national and international competitions. I have had many opportunities to get lessons from many well known teachers, musicians from all over the world. Currently, I get lessons from Prof. Ilya Grubert. It's my pleasure to share my knowledge to others and have a nice music atmosphere!

As a violinist, I experienced long-term injury, and I explored many other fields like physical therapy, psychology, personal training, Alexander technique, Feldenkrais, and Body mapping for recovery. This experience has impacted highly on teaching as well, and I would love to help others with curious, open, and creative eyes and minds. From body posture to small technical issues, I will help you look at the issue from many different perspectives that can help you find a more organic way to make music.

My violin lessons are shaped in relation to the student's age, goals and interests. I have experience in teaching to children as well as adults and I like the student to have fun while learning such a wonderful thing as playing music. If you are a beginner I'll start with the basic theory, but always in combination with practical approach on the instrument. I'm mostly working with classical music, but I'm also into other genres and I'm very open to help you in any way I can. Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of violin playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and violinist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch and French. My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified violinist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a (very) consciously prepared healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones! I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the violin playing which includes: Introduction to Yoga, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too. Occasionally, there are student concerts and collaborations with other teachers. (These may include some teachers from the Sweelinck Academy or the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and more). From among the required tools for my lessons are: a violin and a bow, score and books purchases when necessary, and, from time to time, meetings with the parents. On occasion, I use digital tools like phone/tablet apps. I can teach in various places near or in the centre of Amsterdam, or, depending on the need, I can move to pretty much wherever in The Netherlands. About the homework, I send it to the students on a weekly basis and encourage them to participate on competitions and summer music courses. As always, this is conditional on the pupil's stage.
