For a year now, I have been teaching not only the basic methods and resources of the clarinet, but also complementing the students' training by teaching notions of musical theory, ear development and improvisation techniques that I consider fundamental for a musician. Whether you are interested in starting to play the clarinet or saxophone, are an amateur composer who wants to understand how harmony and musical form work, or have a classical music background and want to expand your horizons by gaining tools from jazz and modern music, I would be happy to help you!

This class is designed for GCSE and A-Level music students eager to develop their composition skills in line with exam requirements. I have been teaching uninterruptedly for more than 10 years and I would like to explain to you what you can find in a class with me: - To begin, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need or want, from learning for pure pleasure from scratch to preparing for entrance tests or focusing professionally. The needs of each student may vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, etc. - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Relaxed does not equal lax! only that we will try to resort to dynamic and as practical methods as possible, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to highlight is that I always place special emphasis on the development of hearing, musicality and the analysis of your references. I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice.
