⭐Private Physics Lessons - from an International Olympian in Physics[LAST SPOTS AVAILABLE]
From a young age, I was fascinated by Physics. This bright curiosity fueled me to the International Physics Olympiad, where I won the Silver Medal twice in a row, alongside dozens of medals and special awards from other international competitions, such as the European Physics Olympiad or the Asian Physics Olympiad.
5 years ago, I decided to share my love for Physics with other students, so I became a private tutor. So far, I worked with students of all ages and difficulties. From students with difficulties to students who wanted to be selected for the International Olympiad. From middle school, up to the university level.
All my students saw tremendous progress, with many rising from the bottom of the class to the top, and others dominating the rankings of the most challenging Physics competitions.
It’s incredible how fast can you learn, with the right support and 1-on-1 guidance, tailored to your personality. When you realize Physics is, in fact, beautiful and enjoyable...
Currently, I have a few spots available for 1-on-1 online tutoring. I worked with students from all around the world (Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Romania, and so on) teaching in English or Romanian.
(The good thing is, Physics is the same in every country. The formulas don’t change.)
To check if I have spots available, don’t hesitate to contact me 🙂

Private lessons Physics/Maths - with a medalist from the International Physics OlympiadMy name is Valentin and I have a master's degree in Physics from ENS Lyon. In 2017 I became the youngest medalist at the International Physics Olympiad. Currently I am doing my doctoral studies in Basel. My scientific approach favors above all the in-depth understanding of concepts rather than the simple learning of the laws of physics by heart. I have experience solving very complex problems in physics and mathematics, where just knowing the formulas is not enough. It is by grasping the deeper meaning of these formulas that we can effectively apply them in a broader context and thus facilitate the search for solutions.
I start by doing a short assessment of the student's level, followed by identifying their main difficulties in the subject. Then I explain difficult concepts in detail and show how I would approach different problems through concrete examples. I'll break down complex formulas into simpler pieces to explain what they mean, rather than just memorizing them. Additionally, I will try to make the topic more interesting and interactive, referencing real-world examples and experiences, wherever applicable.
I offer courses for students of all levels, up to the third year of university in physics and the second year in mathematics. I have several years of teaching experience and my students have been able to do well in their exams. I can give my classes in the evening in Basel, or in neighboring cities as long as they are accessible by train and less than an hour by train, such as Bern or Zurich.

Math support courses for high school students (Science Maths, Science Exp, Letters ...)As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material!
We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition.
The sessions generally take place according to the following stages:
1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps.
2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises.
3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach.
4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively.
5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course.
I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach.
In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.
