I graduated as a guitar teacher at Franz Liszt Academy of Music (Budapest), and I played with several artists and bands in many genres as well. Hello :) I am so excited that you are interested in music and especially that you are looking to start learning how to play the piano! I am offering private piano lessons, to any age or level. I teach children, starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications, e.g. ABRSM music exams, amateurs or simply people who want to learn how to play and enjoy music, of any age. I always start by teaching and explaining the importance of the hand's position, the importance of the arms and the use of the whole body while playing the piano. During the lessons, we will be working on piano technique (giving great importance to the p movement of the finger and the use of the weight on the keys), the understanding of the musical language, the expression of the personality through the music. My way of teaching, adjusts to the age, the character and the personality of the student. I am always using a lot of examples in order to make my point and especially in young ages, the most of the lesson's activities, have the sense of a game for the children.

From beginners to advanced I am happy to guide you towards your goal. Preparation for ABRSM and TRINITY exams. I was trained in Hungary from early on with the Kodály-method, then I went to study in Vienna and London, where I got my Master degree. I have been teaching since I started university and visited a few countries. Having such a colorful past, surely I can offer you a wide range of possibilities to learn and also to enjoy music.

Through my courses I will teach all levels of piano playing. My approach will consist of forming an individual repertoire according to each student's needs. In case that students want to integrate piano lessons with composing, that is also something I would strongly encourage, since piano is the most frequently used instrument for composing music.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
