Basic / Advanced Biology using exciting, easy to understand graphical methods

I have a passion for science, especially life science. After having finished my master's degree in Biotechnology and working as a molecular oncology researcher for 3 years, I now wish to share my passion for this field with budding, curious minds.

In this class, based on the requirement of the student, I will focus on basic or advanced life science topics such as molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and bioanalytical techniques. If you are in school and need your basics covered, I can teach basic biology and chemistry in the simplest manner. I can understand these subjects can come off as quite dry to many students, but hopefully, my extreme enthusiasm in this field will change that for you. Hope to see you soon.

About Me

Teaching a subject is really the best way to learn it better and go into the depths of the subject. Teaching for me is a way of sharing my passion with the student. The curiosity of the student sparks new levels of enthusiasm in me. Having taught life science to school students all through my college life, I surely have developed a great love for planning the syllabus, developing fun interesting visual methods to teach the subject and creating exciting, yet challenging assessments.

My love for life science started while I was doing my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology and peaked as I entered into the field of research in the field of molecular oncology working as a research fellow in one of the leading research institutes of India, the Indian Institute of Science. I now, wish to share the knowledge I have gained in the past 7-8 years with budding, curious minds. Finally, I believe that learning must be an enjoyable experience and I hope I can successfully accomplish that.

Abitur Biology (Grundkurs and Leistungskurs) and general Biology
I received my Abitur in 2021, with biology as one of my Leistungskurse (advanced courses), in which I consistently received good grades. As I am now pursuing a bachelor in a related field so I am still in everyday contact with it. I believe that I am equipped to tutor both advanced course (Leistungskurs) biology as well as standard level (Grundkurs) biology for all grades. I am happy to offer the course in either English or German.

Biology (Cell, Evolutionary, Genetics) from basic to advanced
Biology is one of the most important subjects in the science field. It's a core course taught everywhere, but the key to understanding any type of science, including Biology, is applying theoretical knowledge to real-life phenomena. That's what I valued the most as a pupil and student myself, putting my knowledge to practice, and that's exactly what I want to teach my students. We will go through all the unclarities and gaps of knowledge you may have from school or university and reinforce our lessons by finding ways to practice Biology in real life. That's what Biology is about since it is the science of life after all, isn't it? You're more than welcome to join my class, and I'll make sure you ace those Biology exams.

Mastering Life Sciences: Biology, Biochemistry, and Beyond
Science especially Biology, has always been my passion—a world of discovery, curiosity, and endless possibilities. With a Master’s degree in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology from Imperial College London, I’ve spent years exploring the fascinating interplay of biology, microbiology, biochemistry, and chemistry. What drives me most is the ability to inspire others to see the wonder in these subjects, empowering students to embrace science as a way to understand and shape the world around them. In my classes, I aim to make biology approachable and enjoyable. I believe that every student has a unique way of learning, so I tailor my lessons to suit their needs, whether they’re building foundational knowledge or diving into advanced topics. My teaching style is interactive and friendly, using real-world examples, experiments, and visual aids to explain complex ideas in a simple, engaging manner. I encourage questions and discussions, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their curiosity. Together, we’ll not only tackle academic goals but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that go beyond the classroom. Whether preparing for exams, improving grades, or simply nurturing a love for science, my goal is to make learning both meaningful and fun. I look forward to sparking that “aha!” moment for my students and guiding them on their educational journey.
