A powerful Digital Audio Workstation that allows musicians and beginner producers to record a whole album if they wish. I'll teach you how to remake a song/piece of your choosing from the ground up. You'll use the inbuilt virtual instruments, your own voice, and your guitar/keyboard to rebuild your chosen track or give it your own unique stamp. Music production is a huge topic so I'll teach you the essential musical skills such as ear training, understanding rhythm, and basic harmony. You'll learn basic recording skills using the iPad mic or an interface and we'll use virtual/real instruments to record the parts. You'll learn how to edit and I'll show you how to create an interesting song structure and how to layer multiple tracks so they don't clash! Finally, we'll look at mixing, effects, and EQ to give your track a professional polish!

I am a DJ / Producer and sound engineer graduated from the SAE Institute Geneva. I have been composing and producing for 9 years. I have produced and composed for local and international artists. I am a member of the “WUGS” trio with which I received in 2017 the Swiss Live Talents award for “best Electro / Dance artist”. Our songs are playlisted on radio on One FM, Couleur3 and Rouge FM and we have performed at the Caribana Festival, the Electron Festival, and even the Montreux Jazz Festival. My group masterclasses are for anyone wishing to observe how I compose, produce and record songs. They take place in immersion in my fully equipped music studio. I have been giving private lessons for over 6 years. I do not have a degree in languages but I have a good command of English in particular written (I can give courses up to the Cycle Orientation level). I also have a very good level of spelling in French as well as knowledge of basic general cultures of the language (grammar, conjugation, figures of styles ...). Concerning the MAO, I am currently in BTS Audiovisual option trades of the Sound and thus has solid knowledge in MAO, mixing and mastering, particularly on ProTools (in French or in English (English advised)) and Ableton Live; as well as good notions of acoustics. I also have extensive general knowledge about consumer and professional sound equipment. About me, I am patient and I like to teach people.
