Hello everyone! I would like to greet each of you and praise your courage in learning a musical instrument. We are all exposed to the age of digitalization and now, more than ever, the real, tangible aspects of the moment are often neglected. That's why I believe that learning how to create art the old-fashioned way can put anyone back in touch with their own self! I completed a bachelor's and master's degree in violin performance with honors in Graz and attended a diploma course for 3 years at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In addition to my solo training, I am also regularly active in areas such as chamber music or professional orchestral playing (in orchestras such as the Graz Philharmonic, Recreation Orchestra Graz, Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Erl, Beethoven Philharmonic, Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra, etc.)

I am a violinist, 23 years old from Luxembourg and I am currently doing my Masters degree in Graz (Austria). During the last years I have given violin lessons to various students of all ages and I am very motivated to continue teaching and sharing the love towards music. With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. We will talk about musicality, physical well-being (the importance of breathing!), attentive listening and we will take the time to explore while having fun. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually. Although I have a classical background I enjoy teaching a variety of music (Celtic, folk, klezmer, tango, jazz, films...) and I encourage my students to discover the most beautiful melodies in the repertoire and sometimes even to improvise or compose together. I am a freelance musician, performing with several orchestras across Europe. I have recently finished my Masters Studies in KASK Conservatorium, Belgium and am currently living in Oslo. Passion for music was the main vehicle that brought me to where I am now. But a big part of the origin of that passion came from the teachers I had contact with. ..... Hi, I’m Kristie, an American violinist and concertmaster of a major Belgian orchestra. My full time job is performing on stage as a concertmaster, chamber musician, and recitalist, but in my spare time I love to teach and guide violinists of all levels and aspirations. My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
