I currently divide my time between teaching violin and playing as Co-Principal second violin at Philharmonie Zuidnederland, as well as freelancing in other orchestras like Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest and Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. I gained my Bachelor's Degree from the Royal College of Music in London with a specialization in teaching and a Master's Degree from Musikhochschule Lübeck. I was an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2017/2018. Both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. As soon as I started conservatory in London I started teaching privately and in a music school while I was studying performance and music pedagogy. I am proud to have very high-level students that have pursued a career in music and have become exceptional violinists. My aim in the lessons is to help my students improve their technique and musicality, as well as keep them motivated. For optimal development, I organize frequent lessons with the piano accompanist as well as a two class concerts per year in various locations around Maastricht. I also organize collective classes where we play for each other and discuss topics like, for example, practicing techniques. Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand. My teaching method includes a very large list of repertoire, ranging from ABRSM, Trinity and Suzuki methods to standard violin repertoire. I teach at home in Scharn Noord, but I can also travel to students' homes by bike or car. Lessons can be in Dutch, English or Spanish.

We arranged our first lesson easily, and as a total beginner, she advised me on where I could hire a violin. Our first lesson was great, she was very patient and explained the basics well.
