You will learn how to show your emotions through movements to best inspire the audience and enjoy. We will work on rhythm, tempo (which are two different things), creativity, improvisation techniques and theatrical performance (if interested). I do not like to work genre-based (for instance only hip-hop, or only classical music), but we will practice what you like the most. However, my strengths are rather in contemporary and modern style, hip hop, breakdance, belly dancing, and Persian dance. We can also specialize in one of these if you are interested. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris. I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings. I am a professional dancer with a disability. When I became a mobility aid user I had to make alot of my own acts and training routines. Even when I got jobs with mainstream company's they didn't know how to adapt choreography to me and I would have to do this myself. I work with a lot of disabled people and I am very skilled in creating dance classes/ routines or a training regiment for the dancer then to practice on there own. I am trained in many different area of dance and work with Professionals/ aspring professionals, student dancers, hobbyists and those who are using dance to achieve a different goal. Examples of other goals include: weight loss, improving fitness, improving coordination, expressing themselves, improving confidence and others.
