The harp is an instrument with magnificent sounds that I would make you discover with pleasure in all styles of music (variety, classical, pop, Celtic). I also sing and play the piano and can also introduce you to these instruments if you wish. In my classes, I pass on my passion for music in a fun way by adapting to everyone's desires. I love teaching both children and adults and discovering all the musical palettes that my students might like. The harp is a fabulous instrument that is both technical and intuitive, there are lots of beautiful and interesting things to learn!

Being a concert cellist, the lessons that I am giving are very well adapted for young ambitious musicians or adults. The most important for me is to guide every students to his own goals, analyzing their needs and respecting their individuality. The lessons are however opened to everyone.

Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages! These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover. I have over five years of experience teaching piano and music theory, with children, youth and adults. Piano course gives by diploma and student at the HEM of Geneva. The courses are more for beginners and the method is called BASTIEN. An introduction to music theory is provided and a good atmosphere is guaranteed. Solfege included in the "I like music" method

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth.
