About Me
I am Margherita, and I am a food geek.I have always been attracted by everything related to food: from unusual ingredients, traditional recipes or exciting new combinations.
I had great teachers, starting from the women in my family who taught me to understand and to have a brave but respectful attitude towards ingredients.
From there I built my culinary experience, having encountered and worked with amazing chefs who helped me understanding food and cuisine from a higher perspective and expressing my compelling need for newness through my recipes.
I would love to share my knowledge and love for cuisine teaching you how to climb the steps of your culinary journey.

What best than learning Italian from a native speaker? I am an Italian living in Leiden since 2014. I have a solid gramatic preparation and like to talk of the most disparate subjects. I can help you preparing for your certification as well as improving your pronunciation and your written and oral production
Creative cooking is not just putting random ingredients together with an aesthetic touch. Rather it is about creating new dishes that tell a small story, tickle, and excite all our senses and especially our imagination!
Aesthetic is important because we eat with our eyes (first), so the glance is fundamental to amaze and create expectation and suspense, but those promises and expectations must and confirmed in the smell and ultimately in the taste.
A dish is a game of consistencies, colors, and flavors that mix and harmonize with each other!
I am a very experienced personal chef and I love to share my knowledge and passion. I bring you from beginner to advanced level always with interesting and tasty recipes.

Mathematics and Physics for School students or Mathematics for University studentsI teach mathematics at all levels, from basic algebra for school students to calculus for university students.
The students can choose the course to be either a homework-aid, or revision on the learnt material, or previewing on some new knowledge that they will need, or even some more adavanced stuff.
Not only will I keep the student practicing with various and but not tedious task, but I will also teach how to tackle and think mathematically.
I could also teach physics for school level.

Tutoring Mathematics, Logic, VMBO, HAVO, VWO, Leiden at HomeI am a 26 year old Mathematics and Philosophy student at Leiden University and I have been tutoring Maths B privately since 2019. Teaching is one of my passions. Over the years I have often seen that many students who have difficulty with math can easily pass if we practice together enough and I explain the material to them in a slightly different way than they are used to.

A practical example of Pytagoras theorem in daily lifeIn day to day life especally in technical related subjects you will find practical use of the Pythagoras theorem. For example a carpenter when a house is being build, who uses the 3,4,5 rules to allign doors and window 90 degees straight up.
How does this work? The carpenter prepares three beams with lenghts 3, 4 and 5 meter, or other lengths with the same ratio like 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 meter. How does he use these beams to align the door or window?
He creates a triangle with 1.5m vertical, 2 m horizontal and 2.5 meter sloped.
What do you see. The 1.5m length beam is exactly straight up, and can be used to align the door or window to the correct position.

MATHEMATICS FOR ALL GRADES: UK & NEDERLANDS CURRICULUMI have worked as a high school math teacher since 2006 in different countries. I have been teaching mainly the UK curriculum.
I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive learning atmosphere.
In addition, I utilize weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness, and prepare students for finals exams.

Mathematics for Children, customized to their way of thinkingI studied the University of Mathematics and I have an experience of over 7 years in teaching mathematics to children. I'm passionate about children's development and mathematics, hence I'm combining the two to motivate children and to explain through various methods adjusted to their way of thinking and understanding.
Majority of my previous students were admitted and graduated universities around the world, on topics that have mathematics as a background (e.g. architecture, construction engineering).
I'm currently working for a software company, but I'm willing to dedicate the afternoons/weekends to supporting kids learn and develop.

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacherI am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.
The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies.
I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics.
I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.
