Hello, I'm an Italian high school teacher and a published writer. I have studied Literature and languages in Italy, UK and France and I have a long experience in tutoring students. I adapt my classes depending upon the specific needs of my students, depending on their knowledge and goals. I generally dedicate part of the class to teach grammar in an interactive way, following a book and proposing exercise I create myself to the students. Then I dedicate part of the class to the conversation, so that listening and speaking skills of the student can improve. If the student is at an intermediate or advanced level, I give them more insight about the evolution of Italian language, making reference to Latin and to Italian literature. To make the class more interesting, I often talk about Italian culture related to language.

I am a fully qualified Secondary School teacher who has eight years' experience as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language in Spain and Italy. I have three years' experience as a teacher of Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics. Research interests include philosophy and pedagogy and lessons are based around current understandings in learning methods and classroom practice. Lessons can be tailored to the student.
