I am Vandad, and I hold a bachelor's degree in Applied Physics and a master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from ULB. I have experience teaching math and physics to high school and bachelor's students. I speak English and French fluently, and I would be happy to teach you math and physics.

Trained as a civil electrical engineer, I offer remedial courses in mathematics and science (physics and chemistry) for primary and humanities students. having been a trainer at Cogito (academic support school), I teach with a method and a working dynamic which allow students to better understand the subjects and become passionate about them rather than memorizing them.

As a bachelor's student in the faculty of bioengineering at the Catholic University of Louvain, scientific disciplines are also part of my daily life. I teach chemistry, physics and biology to students up to secondary sixth grade. (My science classes are taught in French!).

J'ai une très bonne connaissance des matières typiquement enseignées en BA1: - mécanique newtonienne; - optique géométrique; - électromagnétisme; - relativité restreinte.

I am an experienced teacher who owes practically all his knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science to a few great men from the Ecole Polytechnique of the ULB who I learned recently were no longer of this world and to whom I would like to pay tribute here: Professors Dubus, Maun, Winand, Legros, Beauwens and those for whom I already knew: Professors Sergijsels, Beaufays, Vanhauwermeiren, Devoogt as well as those who are still in this world. I taught at the ULB Tutoring Unit for 3 years and in secondary school for 7 years. I gave private lessons for university students for 2 years. I was a teacher of mathematics and physics at the Bilingual College of Dakar (French system) for the Mission Laïque Française based in Paris and active in more than 94 countries around the world. I therefore taught at all levels, and varied subjects, ranging from "classical" mathematics to the resolution of Schrödinger equations for complex nuclear systems existing outside our galaxy. I therefore have a long experience of courses at all levels up to engineering schools and beyond. I think I'm a pretty good "uncocker" for those who find themselves a little drowned in math programs or complex university problems.

Every child is capable of learning anything. All that matters is the correct approach that suits your little genius. I always teach in the unique style and make complex concepts super easy for kids to understand, using analogies and real life examples. We will work on the homework together with your child, and make sure that he/she learns and understand all concepts taught at school. The typical length of the lesson is 1-1.5hr. I aim at teaching primary school subjects for youth under 14 years of old. The lessons can be taught in English, Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani. I hold Bachelor of Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven with summa cum laude distinction. My innate strengths are strong memory and adaptability, and most importantly willingness to share my knowledge in the style of "Explain me like I am 5". For me, it is crucial to select a personal approach towards the person, and reveal their strengths to them and prove that everything is learnable and can be made easy.

I like to explain mathematics both to students who have more difficulty conceptualizing its fundamental notions as well as to those who understand them more easily. I strive to present mathematics in an intelligent and understandable way. Indeed, the clarity of explanations is one of the most important aspects to consider when teaching mathematics. Also, I am aware of the stress that students sometimes feel and therefore I make it a point that students do not feel any stress from a math class but rather that they work to their best of their abilities in a relaxed and pleasant setting.

Graduated from a bachelor's degree in Biology, I am currently pursuing medical studies. With more than 2 years of experience as a tutor, I adapt the course to the level of the student and follow his progress. Depending on the student's program at his school, I make sure to explain and consolidate the basics for the years to come.
