Hi everyone, My music adventure started with playing piano when I was 8 years old. When I was 14, I got accepted from Istanbul University State Conservatoire and started to play flute and saxophone. After I graduate, I went to Marmara University Music Education department in Istanbul and graduated in 2016. In the same year, I moved to the Netherlands in order to study jazz music. I graduated from Prince Claus Conservatoire in 2020 and moved to Berlin last January for work and my master programme. I used to perform on various genres with different setups in lots of different venues in Istanbul and Europe. I mainly play contemporary/experimental music, but also enjoy playing and teaching pop, jazz, classical, blues, funk, soul, latin, afro-jazz.

I am a music producer and film score composer from London living in Berlin. I currently tutor privately and teach at the EMS - Electronic Music School Berlin. I have taught everyone from complete beginners with no music theory knowledge, to experienced DJ's trying to up their game. I am currently preparing to teach a masterclass at my school that will cover advanced mixing, mastering and sound design. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service. I can teach chords, fingerstyles and plucking, full songs or melodies, in either tab form or standard music notation.

Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years.
