Trusted teacher: Literature: During literature courses, students will be analyzing and interpreting different forms of fictional literature. This will help them understand the fundamental aspects of literature as an art form. We will be reading poems, prose, short stories, novels, novellas, and plays to develop close reading skills. Like an AP Literature class, students will dissect the work and write their analyses. Writing: During writing courses, students will have the option to focus on essay writing, creative writing, and business writing. With essay writing, we will be practicing different and effective techniques to successfully abide by the rubric provided. (Ask that the student have a copy of the rubric during the lesson). With creative writing, we will be enhancing skills in vocabulary, sentence structure, literary techniques, and plots (involving characters, settings, themes, and messages) to build fictional poetry, prose, novels, and plays. With business writing, we will be building and adapting resumes as well as learning how to write professional emails. Language Arts: During Language Arts courses, students will learn how vocabulary, grammar, and composition create effective arguments. This course will mainly focus on writing arguments through rhetorical, cultural, and contextual lenses. Additionally, students will be able to practice public speaking to improve their overall argumentative skills. Like an AP Language and Composition class, students will read nonfiction to develop an argument that explains ideas, argues a point, or persuades readers. Conversational: During conversational English courses, non-native English speakers will be advancing their understanding of the language. Students will be learning practical and conversational skills that improve vocabulary, conventions, and grammar. Lessons will cover reading, writing, and speaking for everyday life. I specialize in Fire Performance. I have been performing all over the world for over 20 years. My main tool is Fire Poi. I also work with Staff and Double Staff. I would cover fire safety, object manipulation, state of flow and meditation, performance and sacred geometry. Students would eventually need materials for this class. The second class I offer is walking on a 1" slackline. Lessons will cover slackline safety, balance, core strength, meditation and how to set up a slackline. Students do not need materials for this class. The third class is Magic and sleight of hand. I am an intermediate magician specializing in close up magic and card tricks. Lessons would cover magic history, close up sleight of hand, card tricks, coin tricks, parlor tricks and stage magic. Students would need a deck of cards to begin. The fourth class is Leather art and tooling. I have been tooling and carving leather for over 15 years. I specialize in sacred geometry. Lessons would cover leather prepping, tooling, carving, stamping, molding and dying. Students would need to acquire their own tools and leather for this class. The fifth class is DJ and Production. I have been a DJ for 10 years and producing music for 15 years. My main DAW is FL Studio. I specialize in Tribal/World music. I have played tons of festivals all over the states. Students would need a laptop for this class.

I love my Bhangra classes with Reena. It is such a joyful and fulfilling learning experience. I first start learning Bhangra with Reena in Taiwan, and while at the beginning I could use the Bhangra steps to only exercise on the Bhangra music, under her dedicated guidance, afford and tailored feedback I was able to have speedy progress and join group performances. She is passionate about dancing and choreography, and teaching dance comes so natural to her. She is professional, enthusiastic, patient, and friendly and her energy is uplifting and motivating. She always tailors the lessons to the specific needs and capabilities to each individual, even sends post-lesson teaching videos. If you want to learn basic Bhangra steps or challenge yourself and advance to professional level Bhangra, or looking for a easy way to release stress and feel lighter and brighter, I highly recommend Reena as your guide.
