I offer piano lessons at home for all ages and for all levels. Master's student and holder of a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Drums from HEMU Lausanne, I give drum lessons at home and/or in my own premises, for all levels. The lessons are above all based on the requests and expectations of the student, according to his level and age. Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020. In parallel with my studies, I have always enjoyed sharing what I myself have the chance to continue to learn, so much so that I have been giving private piano lessons for 3 years. I believe that for the student to get the most out of his course, a great adaptability of the teacher is necessary. The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music. In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument. We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues.
