Music Mixing Engineering for All levels - Learn how to get the best sounds from your recordings.

Mixing a recorded music is the art to connect musical ideas to emotions.
Whether it is your music or someone else’s recordings, I’ll help you develop your skills in order to give the perfect “make up” to any song.

But what exactly is Music Mixing Engineering?
Imagine that you recorded drums, bass, keyboard, guitars and vocal.

Now you have to put everything together and be able to listen to all the instruments with perfect sonic separation. You need to match the emotional intention of the composer to the emotions of the listener.
The decision to make the voice louder or not, bring the guitars to attention only in a specific moment of the song, specify the type of reverberation and so many other decisions is the responsibility of the one working on the mix.

I’ll teach you all the 7 main steps for every successful mix and work in-depth each of those according to your development or previous knowledge.

I’ll fine tune the lessons specifically for your needs.

We can work with your recordings, but if you don't have one, don't worry.
I'll bring multi-tracks recordings of different genres for you to learn and practice along.

Common Questions:

- Do I need to be a musician to mix a music?
Although it certainly helps, you don't need to know how to play any instrument.

- I don't have monitors or an acoustically treated room, can I learn anyway?
For sure yes.
You can use headphone and simple speakers like the one from your notebook, for example.
Once you'll understand the techniques and develop your hearing, you move to the next level.

- Which software (DAW) should I use?
If you're starting now, I recommend Reaper or Logic Pro.
If you're already experienced, any DAW of your preference.

Book now and start learning from beginner to Pro the art of mixing.

Extra information

You can start with a pair of headphones or studio monitors (ideally).

About Me

ABOUT ME
Music is my passion, and I love to share that passion with others, particularly my students!
I'm a keyboardist, musical producer, soundtrack composer, sound designer and mixing engineer.
I work for the music industry since 1995, having used the most primitive DAWs you could ever imagine. :)

Education

I have and addiction for knowledge and almost always it has been in a self-taught way.
I honestly believe that if I could learn by myself, I can teach others to achieve at least the same level, but always aiming higher.

Bachelor in Industrial Design / Graphic Design

Experience / Qualifications

I also believe that a better teacher is the one who had the opportunity to face the real life, the market. I've worked with big marketing agencies and produced soundtracks, jingles and spots for big brands like Castrol, Vivo, Petrobras, Peugeot, Bradesco, Embratel, Gazeus Games and others.

As a result of my experience, I wrote a Music Mixing Engineering book in Brazil - MIX - O Poder da Mixagem (The power of Mixing) - 300 pages - 2 editions sold-out.

I also used to write articles about music production for one of the main music production magazine in Brazil (Backstage).

More than 20 years teaching musical production, mixing and many other multimedia art related topics such as photography, photoshop, music recording, soundtrack production, music for games, video production for example.

These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

Piano Lessons - all ages and levels - Classical music, pop/rock, etc. - with Piano Master's graduated teacher
Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find it incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the student's musical tastes and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. I can teach classical music, pop, rock, or any other style. My approach consists of giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback! Thus, my lessons will allow you to: - Learn how to read scores. -Develop your musical understanding (from notes, rhythm, and harmony, to musical taste, and emotional comprehension of the music, or dive into aesthetic principles concerning the period and style of the piece,...). -Improve, step by step, until you are able to play that piece/song that you love. -Prepare yourself for exams. -Etc. Furthermore, I organize Students' Concerts, giving you the chance to play in a fantastic grand piano, and sharing with others all the work you've done! The best thing is that it's possible for you to learn all this and have fun at the same time! Any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Also by webcam! The lessons are very practical, with a clear vision on continuing to make music. According to Jurgen, too many guitarists spend far too many hours on the wrong, sometimes far too advanced techniques. Every guitarist has unique qualities. He wants to get out what is in them. Zooming in on where their strengths lie is crucial in this, so that students can learn to play from feeling without thinking. Through his experiences as a session musician and producer, he teaches you to play in the service of the music. Where you as a guitarist take on a dynamic. All this is supported with clear teaching material, performed in a professional environment by an enthusiastic guitar coach! REED FLUTE, NEY, NAY LESSONS FOR ALL STUDENTS BY TURKISH TEACHER
Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

Creative Sound Classes / Listening Sessions / Music Improvisation
Sound is a word with a broad meaning. In these classes we will focus on listening sessions and sound composition/improvisation. At first, we will exercise the art of listening (natural and artificial/man made sounds). Later on we will try to make sound compositions and improvisations manually and on computer programs (optional). Listening is a powerful tool for daily awareness. Listening to your surrounding, means being aware of other things and entities that exist around you, which adds on to a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s environment. Through a selection of music, sounds and a series of exercises, I will guide you through a journey of listening to yourself and your surrounding.
