During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and besides I teach private students. Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch and face-to-face or online, depending on the location. Location face-to-face classes: Citizen M Amsterdam, at your home or in the public library. It is possible to arrange group lessons (max 3 students).

With 18 years of teaching experience in outstanding UK and international schools and a Master's degree in Primary Maths teaching, I can offer tutoring in all primary subjects for children aged 6-12. In this class i help students to organize their homework and help they get good prepared for exams. I find it very important to help a student with understanding the course but also to help them gain more confidence about what they can. Math, Physics and Chemistry are all Beta subjects. I focus on really understanding the courses instead of learning you a trick. It’s also about a lot of practicing with those subjects. I also give History. It’s important to understanding connections between events and why people choose to act in a certain way.

This class is for english speaking students that wish to enhance their performance in mathematics (mainly for high school). Calculus, Algebra, Functions, Probabilities will be the main topics covered. Regarding the study progress, exercises will be at first solved with me and progressively I will give the student autonomy. I believe that practice makes perfect (after learning the theory), therefore the goal is cover as many exercises as possible during class.
