Piano classes in Barcelona, for all ages.

In this course, I will teach you the first steps to start playing classical piano. We will begin to do some hand placement exercises, scales, arpeggios and different exercises and then begin to play simple works, which will become more complicated over time. The duration of the classes in principle is 1 hour. If you would like less or more time, we can manage it. In principle the classes are taught in my studio, but everything could be discussed. Depending on the area I could move.

English piano lessons for all levels I have 6 years of piano teaching experience. I have completed my grades and would love to continue to share my talent with others. I will travel to you within the Barcelona area. If you are looking to complete your grades, I will help you on your journey. otherwise, if you are just learning for fun, I will teach you the basics and we can come up with pieces based on your preferences. Mi formación incluye el Grado Profesional de Piano, estudios en canto y composición moderna, y actualmente curso un Máster en Management y Producción Musical en la ESMUC (Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña). Cada clase está diseñada para crear un ambiente inspirador, donde puedas explorar tanto la técnica como la interpretación, y adentrarte en la armonía y teoría musical de una manera práctica y accesible. He obtenido la titulación de Maestría en Piano en el Conservatori del Liceu (Barcelona), y cuento con muchos años de experiencia dando clases tanto a niños y a jóvenes como a adultos. I have finished my Master degree in Piano at the Conservatori del Liceu (Barcelona) this year, and I have many years of experience teaching, children and younger students, as well as adult people. Currently I am working in a music school, but at the same time I give private lessons.

I always try to adapt to the interests and needs of each student and with all kinds of repertoire: Mozart, Bach, John Lennon, Richard Clayderman, Imagine Dragons... There is music for all tastes! I receive students who are just curious to try the instrument to people with a clearer goal, any level is welcome. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
