I provide private and/or Skype cello lessons for students of all ages and levels in the Berlin, Germany area. I teach in English, Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of German. I teach primarily the classical style of cello playing, but with these basic tools students can learn to play any style of music they wish on the cello.

Hello there! My name is Tamir. I am an Israeli cellist living in Berlin, and for the past years I have been performing in various renowned festival such as Yellow Barn, Lumières d’Europa and Geneva International Academy while pursuing my bachelors degree under the guidance of Prof. Frans Helmerson. Throughout the years, I have always been fascinated with the art of teaching. Through my main mentor, Prof. Zvi Plesser (The Julliard School), I learned more then just cello playing. I learned the value of persistence, search for beauty and expression. I have had the fortune of working and performing with todays most prominent musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, Krzysztof Chorzelski (Belcea Quartet), Donald Weilerstein and Gary Hoffman. Now, after finishing my studies, I am eager to share my knowledge with you! I'm offering Cello lessons in Berlin, all levels and all ages are welcome. I am a cellist and music producer form Rome, Italy. I studied in Conservatorio Santa Cecilia and was part of the Orchestra of the Academy "Juniorchestra" and the World Youth Orchestra. Learn to improvise, jam and create your own music. I am a cellist, composer and improviser specialising in working with string players to unlock and devlop creative potential. I will work with you to deveop a bespoke course to help you develop skills in improvisation. Areas covered: Jazz improvisation - Blues, Standards, Harmony, Bass Lines, Finding Chords, Building and Creating Solos, Elarnig repertoire. Baroque Imrpovisation - Ground Bass, Partimento realisation and developing cadenzas for classical repertoire Free/Folk and other styles - we can explore any styles of improvisation, and discuss how to develop your skills. I am a professor of Imrpovisation at the Royal Colege of Music in London, and a composer and performer of my own music internationally.

I am Zhanshu, a cellist from China with extensive experience in cello playing and music education. I previously obtained my Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and then completed my Master's degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany. I currently teach at several music schools and have experience teaching students of all ages and ability levels. Through my many years of teaching practice, I have gained valuable experience and can develop an individually tailored curriculum for each student. I offer flexible lesson times, which can be booked in different lengths (30, 45, 60, 90 minutes). I believe that every student has a unique musical potential, so I always adapt my lessons to the needs and goals of my students to help them progress in both technique and musical expression.

Hi! I'm Goeunsol, South Korean Cellist based in Berlin. I teach mostly online, in person at students' location by case. My lessons are welcome for Cellists at all level, beginners, advanced, music students in need to prepare for exams. I am trained with methods such as Suzuki- I as well started myself learning Cello with Suzuki! As a performing musician, I've played as a soloist in a variety of countries, with several national-/international orchestras and have been selected as a Series Performing Artist of Kukje Art Hall in Seoul, having solo recitals every season since 2019. I have participated in international music festivals including Encuentro de Santander in Spain, am currently academist of Zermatt Festival Academy in Switzerland. Looking forward to hear from you!

I teach my students how to play the cello and use it to express their inner voice. I'm currently doing my master's at Luzern Hoschule and I have already taught privately for 5 years and was also a professor at a music academy. I always try to pick the artistic side of my students and give them the tools to express themselves. Every class will be adapting to the student's struggles and evolution. My student's ages go from early age to adult and elderly.

Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.
