This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

Recorder course by Professor graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. From initiation to perfection. The courses are divided into two parts: 1. Individual courses structured in several small stages: warming up of the body, work on breathing and sound on the instrument ...; the choice of the repertoire is adapted to the level of the student to learn while having fun. A harpsichord accompaniment is possible during classes at the teacher's home. 2. For the pleasure of the game, organization of auditions and small concerts because the sharing of musical moments is important. Lessons can be taught in French, English or Japanese. We follow a working method where you will continuously and deeply develop your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq. He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ” In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical. i am looking forward to teaching you music!

In French : For almost ten years, my method has strived to move away from those found at the Academy, sometimes considered austere and outdated. In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. Thus, he will be able to play his favorite music from all walks of life, whether it be themes from songs, plays, films, series or even video games. Of course, I also encourage classical music, as long as the student finds pleasure in it, which remains and will remain the most important for me. After all, what is music if not the purest and universal essence of our humanity, which brings together and unites our hearts and minds? In English: Over a decade of teaching, I have developed a method of teaching piano that differs from the ones found in the academic environment. For me, the student should be at the center of his learning journey. The teacher should be a guide who provides the student with tailor-made help and support, without forcing preexisting rules that don't reflect the unique needs of each student. No cold, strict or ill-tempered teaching on my watch! My philosophy goes by the following: always encourage, never impose. The student also has the opportunity to explore a much larger repertoire than the one imposed in classical education. He/She has the freedom to play any music from all backgrounds, including songs, shows, movies, series or even video games. I hold a bachelor's degree in jazz music (accordion, keyboards) from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and a master's degree (bandoneon) in World Music / Argentine Tango from Codarts / Hogeschool voor de kunsten (Rotterdam, the Netherlands). Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after many years of experience in teaching at different levels and aspirations of students, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them. Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns while getting to know basis of classical harmony. I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master degree, as well as two different Postgraduate degrees and two different Concert musician diplomas in special program for gifted concert artists at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

I am a recent Masters graduate in Piano from the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, in the class of Jan Michels. Alongside performing, teaching is my greatest passion and I’ve been teaching piano for eight years now. Before moving to Brussels, I studied my Bachelors in Edinburgh and took part in Masterclasses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Talent Academy in Verona. I’ve gained invaluable insights from renowned pianists such as Fali Pavri, Graeme McNaught, Simon Coverdale, BingBing Li, Norma Fisher, Murray McLachlan, Craig Sheppard and Petras Geniusas. It’s my pleasure to pass these on. My upcoming PhD will focus on music education, with a particular focus on piano teaching.
