Very professional, competent teacher, and very lovely person.
Yoana has a very soft and gentle approach. She teaches you not only techniques but also how to “feel” the music through your body. She respects your pace and will assist along. I highly recommend Yoana as a piano teacher.
She is nice and cooperative
Very nice first lesson, very clear in what she explained, and teaching at a good tempo, not too slow and also not too fast. Will book again.
Excellent first lessons with my kids! They are excited to continue and learn more😊

Cello, viola da gamba or music theory lessons for all ages
Graduated in cello in Barcelona, currently finishing my master's degree in historical cello at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Passionate cellist with lots of experience. I specialize in music with historical criteria, so I try to understand the context around each music I play, so we enter into a dialogue between current events and the era in which the music was created. In my classes we will learn the basic cello technique but also we will look together for what we want to express with the music we make, and techniques more adapted to the time.

Arianna
Unique little voices ( Vocal workshop for ages 8 -13)
This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

Saxophone, jazz and improvisation lessons, harmony, music theory, solfege
I suggest you improve your saxophone and music practice by focusing on learning melody by ear and developing improvisation. As for instrumental technique, I can teach you how to place your fingers properly to develop your virtuosity, to have a tonic air column and a good embouchure to develop your sound and to work on articulation to improve your phrasing. All this is acquired little by little by playing specific exercises and solos, pieces or saxophone studies. Through learning the instrument I also suggest you develop your musical qualities which are essential to progress and have fun playing. By learning and memorizing melodies or solos by ear, you develop your ear, your sense of rhythm and your memory. Free improvisation allows you to develop your inner singing and your musical personality. Finally, working with a metronome or directly on recordings will help you improve your rhythmic ear. All this is aimed at allowing the greatest possible freedom with one's instrument as well as the development of a personal aesthetic. I started learning the saxophone at the conservatory 7 years ago. I started with jazz then curiosity pushed me to study classical saxophone for 3 years before specializing in tenor and jazz. I had many saxophone teachers (Eric Barret, Pascal Gaubert, Sylvain Rifflet, Sylvain Cathala...) and today I have a bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory with Fabrice Alleman and Manu Hermia. I have played the saxophone in many different contexts, often in jazz in small groups or in a Big Band, in classical solo or in a quartet and also with pop groups on stage or in the studio. I have always loved passing on what I have learned, so I have been teaching beginners/amateurs for 4 years, always with the aim of developing the pleasure of playing and regularity of practice.

Clarinet and bass clarinet lessons in Brussels for everyone.
I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical. i am looking forward to teaching you music!

Giorgos
I'm a professional theorbo and guitar player and i give theorbo, guitar, music theory and solfege lessons
Hello everyone I'm Giorgos and i teach theorbo and classical guitar! The theorbo is a historical instrument born in the late 16th century, with a (potentially very) long neck and 14 strings. It's main purpose is to accompany one's self while singing, or other instruments or groups by playing mainly a low (bass) part which we fill with other notes that are indicated to us based on what the other instruments are doing, called a basso continuo part. One of the reasons I started playinf for the pure joy of being able to accompany and play with people, and if you share this idea you're more than welcome to join me and explore it. There's beautiful solo music to explore although it's nowhere nearly as much as our accompanying pieces are! The repertoire and possibilities of the guitar are huge, and i like to structure my lessons based on what you like to listen to and to play, while maintaining a certain path on the classical technique. I've been teaching for a long time and i'm very comfortable with it, and i enjoy seeing people get passionate about the instrument. It's a great hobby and a great calling to follow! I'll be happy to work together.

Learn the piano in a fun and stimulating way. Learning piano in a playful and engaging way.
In French : For almost ten years, my method has strived to move away from those found at the Academy, sometimes considered austere and outdated. In my opinion, the student is the main actor in his learning, and the teacher should be his caring guide. In my opinion, his role is to provide him with appropriate help and support, and not to impose pre-established rules that do not take into account his unique needs. The image of the harsh and cold teacher should therefore be forgotten with me. My philosophy is always to encourage without imposing. The student will also have the opportunity to have access to a much broader repertoire than that imposed in classical education. Thus, he will be able to play his favorite music from all walks of life, whether it be themes from songs, plays, films, series or even video games. Of course, I also encourage classical music, as long as the student finds pleasure in it, which remains and will remain the most important for me. After all, what is music if not the purest and universal essence of our humanity, which brings together and unites our hearts and minds? In English: Over a decade of teaching, I have developed a method of teaching piano that differs from the ones found in the academic environment. For me, the student should be at the center of his learning journey. The teacher should be a guide who provides the student with tailor-made help and support, without forcing preexisting rules that don't reflect the unique needs of each student. No cold, strict or ill-tempered teaching on my watch! My philosophy goes by the following: always encourage, never impose. The student also has the opportunity to explore a much larger repertoire than the one imposed in classical education. He/She has the freedom to play any music from all backgrounds, including songs, shows, movies, series or even video games. Of course I also encourage classical music, as long as the student enjoys it, which will always be the most important part for me. After all, what is music, if not the purest and most universal essence of our humanity, the one that connects our hearts and souls?

Tutoring or support in music theory or harmony!
Hi! I'm Lara, and I've been happily tutoring and supporting music theory, solfeggio and harmony for a number of years. Are you struggling with this and are you looking for help? Then you've come to the right place! I am a conservatory student and would like to help others who have difficulty with music theory! I am a clarinetist, so if guidance is needed for the clarinet, this is also possible! Some knowledge is nice, but starting from 0 is no problem for me!

Recorder lessons and musical training for adults and children
*English below Experienced music teacher offers recorder lessons and music training for children and adults of all ages and levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. Graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have experience as a music teacher giving private lessons and at Music Academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each learner in a way that he or she can learn in a solid and fun way. Because it is an easy instrument to produce sound, the recorder is a good opportunity for children to get started in the world of music. This is already a first contact with musical notation and the development of the ear. I offer the student a fun and dynamic practice where we play music from the first lesson. For adults... If you are a beginner, don't worry! I teach you how to make the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to maintain good posture... and create, step by step, a solid basic technique that will help you play any piece on the flute . If you are an advanced student, or who already have the fundamental knowledge of your instrument, I offer you an improvement in technique adapted to each repertoire. We will exploit creativity and sound, in order to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical discourse. Lessons can take place at the student's or the teacher's home in Schaerbeek. Travel costs are negotiable depending on distance. Do not hesitate to contact me to discover this beautiful instrument! Simona
A graduate of the Conservatory with 10 years of teaching experience offers MUSIC Lessons - SPECIALTY FLUTE.
I take care of my students. I like to think of teachers as, in some way, caregivers. My experience giving flute lessons has taught me that often, problems are created by our own minds, and that it is easy to trick our brains into rebooting us, following the right advice from the right person. So if you want: * more self-control; * know you better; * understand and quickly resolve your problems in order to progress; We are the right person for each other. See you soon, Simona
