Introduction to Contemporary Political Theories and their developments

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Geography and history are basic subjects for many students, both at school and university level. They are fundamental elements for developing general knowledge and culture. More specifically, geopolitics and international relations are key elements of political science and international law.

You can choose one of the following three part as your learning content Chinese daily conversation: You will be introduced to the basics of the Chinese language, its structure, and its unique features, including the writing system, tones, and grammar. We will explore the evolution of written Chinese, from oracle bone script to modern Mandarin, and highlight its influence on East Asia and the world. Special attention will be paid to the complexity and beauty of Chinese characters, as well as the ways in which language reflects culture. Chinese Literature: This part of the course will provide an overview of China’s literary heritage, ranging from ancient poetry and classical novels to modern works. Key texts, such as the Book of Songs, Tao Te Ching, Journey to the West, and works by influential modern authors like Lu Xun, will be analyzed in terms of their historical context, thematic concerns, and artistic styles.
