I hold a BMus in classical Music (voice and piano) from Goldsmiths University, London, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Studies from the Royal Welsh College of Music, for which I was awarded the Geraint Evans vocal scholarship to study with the world-renowned Opera singer Suzanne Murphy. I have been a professional opera singer for over 15 years, and have taught throughout London and the South East of England both privately and at specialist schools such as the Jasper Allen school for Performing Arts in London. I understand how daunting it can be to sing in front of someone - especially for the first time. Your voice is your own precious instrument. One that requires respect and care. My aim is to help you build self-confidence, find your voice, and express yourself through music. As your vocal teacher, I will help you to set goals that develop your unique instrument and bring out your own personality. We will work on building a solid technical foundation including breath control and voice placement (classical and pop)through all musical genres, from Madonna and Prince to Mozart and Sondheim. Everyone and anyone - all ages and ability are welcome! I'm based in Eaux-Vives. I also run a new non-audition adult choir on a Monday and Thursday evening.

Bienvenue, Je suis professeur de chant, formée en chant lyrique au Conservatoire de musique de Genève depuis l’âge de neuf ans et en chant moderne à l’Institut The Complete Vocal Education à Genève depuis 2009. Je propose des cours particuliers et collectifs à domicile (entre Genève et Thonon). Je peux également recevoir mes élèves à domicile, à Veigy. J'enseigne en français ou en anglais. J’accompagne l'élève dans l'initiation au chant et l'établissement de reflexes essentiels à sa pratique. De manière générale, ces points comprennent la posture du corporelle/faciale, la respiration, la justesse et la rythmicalité. En parallèle, je l'invite à découvrir et pratiquer chaque mode, couleur et effet qu'il est possible de réaliser avec la voix. J'utilise le piano et/ou la guitare en support. Je propose également des sessions d'enregistrement, de looping ainsi qu'un accompagnement dans la composition de chansons. My goal here is above all to share my passion. Each lesson will therefore be adapted according to the style, level and desires of the student. I use breathing techniques that are simple, effective and accessible to everyone. Rapid warm-up of the voice (vocalizations) and direct immersion in pure singing with or without music depending on the student's needs. Accompaniment on piano or guitar or via Playpack. Breath, search for groove, accuracy, feeling, emotions, singing is an art that requires total letting go. My goal will be to do everything to help you achieve this.

Hello everyone, My name is Ena and i am a professional classical singer, i recently moved to Geneva and started my Season at the Grand Theatre de Geneve as a mezzosoprano in Ensemble of the opera. Since i love teaching, even with my busy schedule i try to find time to pass my knowledge and passion for singing to whomever is in need or would just like to try it out:) I have 2 Master degrees in my field and have been professionally singing on big stages since 10 years now. My focus of the lessons is mainly on technique and breathing but nevertheless fun and discovering new things are definitely gonna be big part of it too. My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

In addition to ballet classes and stretching, I also provide audition preparation and competition training variations. My ballet class is typically divided into two parts: Barre and Center, which include adagio, pirouettes, and jumps. We can reserve time for pointe technique upon request as well. During classes, attention is given not only to the technical aspects of the combinations provided but also to their musicality and the logic of movements. Detailed analysis is also provided on which muscles should be engaged in each movement and what sensations the student should experience when executing the steps correctly. It would be great if you could share a video of your class or variation performance before our first class. This will allow me to assess your level and make our lesson as productive as possible.

Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth.
