I am a Clarinet, Saxophone and Vocal coach from Zimbabwe with over a decade of teaching and performance experience from leading a successful solo career and working as a music teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz singing from Haute Ecole de Musique (HEMU) Lausanne where I am currently studying a Masters in Jazz Pedagogy. I have also studied music in Dublin Ireland, where I acquired a Higher Certificate in Jazz and Contemporary Music from Newpark Music Centre's Berklee Track program whi h is facilitated by Berklee College of Music in Boston. I was the 2024 laureat of the Foundation Casino Barrier Award for talent and creativity and a 2018 winner of the Zimbabwean National Arts Council's National Arts Merit Award (NAMA). I am excited to find eager students at all levels who are keen to learn and challenge themselves in making and learning music. My classes are dynamic, engaging and well prepared.

As a young clarinetist with a lot of experience and numerous international awards, I specialize in teaching students of any level, by expanding their instrumental knowledge about the technique of the clarinet playing. I graduated Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Haute école de Musique de Genève - HEM as a clarinetist. During my studies, I was laureate of several international competitions. In the classes we will address the different elements that make up music in different styles, knowing the particular language of each one. To do this, we will work on the different tools that we have with each instrument at the level at which each one is. We all know music but many times they make us believe that no, that it is necessary to know how to read and write. That is the graphic part of the language that we will learn little by little, music is a compendium of many other things. Some that we already know and others to know. We will study the use of the keys and the positions of the clarinet, or the sax, the best way to position ourselves whether we play standing or sitting, the most efficient way to use the air, the diaphragm, the muscles. We will learn to form a good embouchure and we will develop a study method adapted to each one, according to their tastes, possibilities and interests. I work with boys and girls from different parts of the world as well as with adults and the elderly. In my experience I learned that, truly, the greatest limitation that we find ourselves is the very feeling of not being able, of believing that we cannot. The support of a dedicated teacher is essential to get out of those places where we accidentally enter and that sometimes limit us. We all feel that sometime. It is time for us to remedy it.
