Student at the Lausanne music school, I offer saxophone lessons. My experience playing in very varied ensembles and styles (chamber music, metal groups, rock, funk, Cuban, gospel, tango, orchestras, big jazz band, etc.) and with various musical instruments has allowed me to allowed us to develop a versatile musical approach. I followed a classical conservatory course in guitar and saxophone, then a jazz saxophone course. I am currently studying Bass Jazz, double bass and piano, while continuing my activities as a saxophonist. At the same time, I worked as a teacher and researcher in acoustics in different universities. Learning basic techniques, music theory, improvisation and ear development are part of the training. The saxophone course is personalized depending on whether it is a beginner or an advanced student. Beginner students will learn the solid basics, such as: good posture, good breathing, producing a beautiful sound, scale exercises, reading sheet music, basic rhythmic exercises. We will perform these exercises from different scores, which I can provide if necessary, and at the same time I also try to convey my own experiences. In general, I first show the exercise on my instrument and then let the student try to play it. We often play together.
