The courses of Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology of the French or European French or English programs (Secondary or university levels) are given by explanations either in depth or by a rapid course and summary of essential need according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or by evaluations and exams from other high schools. There's no point teaching simultaneous equations to a struggling student if it isn't on the GCSE Maths Foundation syllabus! Depending on grade that the student is aiming for/predicted I will: ●spend the first lesson with students going through their exam board syllabus, make it explicit what content is the core of the course content and structure lessons in descending importance ● (for higher level students) spend the first lesson with students going through their exam board syllabus, identify the weakest links and structure lessons in ascending order of skill I believe in spaced repetition so revisiting topics taught before is a must! This will manifest in the form of: ●surprise questions during the first 10 minutes of lessons ●helping prepare and working through past papers when it comes closer to exam time to encourage active recall. During normal lessons, there will be a mix of: ●theoretical teaching ●helping the student digest, understand and store useful information that has been presented ●visual aspects (diagrams) In order for students to efficiently absorb knowledge, I will teach one core topic per lesson.
