German and English courses

I give English lessons for all levels, based on my student's expectations and the difficulties he or she may encounter. Having followed training in translation and communication in Geneva and having spent a semester studying in Canada (English-speaking part), I have a solid background to help all profiles in the study of the English language and its specificities. The location of the course is to be agreed, knowing that I can come to my home.

My German courses offer an individual and flexible approach, tailored to each student, depending on their age and specific needs. With a very good knowledge of the Swiss school curriculum, I support you in your learning through creative and dynamic methods. In my lessons, I focus on understanding the structure of the German language, avoiding learning by heart. In 7 years of teaching experience, I've learned that the key to success when learning and new language lies in collaboration between the student and the teacher. As such, I favor a collaborative rather than hierarchical approach during my classes. When it comes to teaching methods, I adapt to the specific needs of each student. Rather than imposing a predefined method, I first seek to understand how the student works, his or her strengths and weaknesses, and learning preferences. The aim is to work together to develop an optimal learning method that suits both student and teacher.

I propose an hour in which I will explain your English course, the things you did not understand, as well as do the homework with you. You can also ask me for a course you want to work on, and I will give you the theory, as well as exercises for you to practice (on paper and electronically). With me, no stress, if you haven't understood, we'll redo the exercise with another explanation. I hope I can help you! This course is aimed more specifically at young people in primary school and the beginning of the cycle (7th - 8th - 9th - 10th year). My support classes are there to help all students who are in need to fill gaps in language subjects. Having a BACHELOR diploma for primary education, I was able to accumulate experience in order to offer quality services to children who need them. Motivated, serious, caring and stress-free in nature, I wish to help children and give them tools that they can use independently in order to understand the content worked in the field of algae in a more serene manner (French, German and English).

A 22-year-old student, I will be starting a Bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Geneva in September. I obtained my high school diploma in 2020.
