I have finished my undergraduate studies in engineering in USA and I have always been passionate about teaching kids Math and Science. I have 3 years of tutoring experience after I finished my studies . My Math classes are very interactive, with lots of new material to learn and an interesting and fun environment for children to learn.

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude). I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results. I strongly believe that each student has a unique way of learning, and my objective is to discover what works best for you. Together, we can make the most of our time and make the learning process enjoyable and effective.

Hi I am 20 years old and am currently a student at Leiden University doing a bachelor of sciences in environmental sustainability. I completed my A levels in Maths, Physics and Biology with grades A in Maths and Biology. I also did an AS level in Chemistry from the British School in the Netherlands. I love science and got all grade 9s in my science GCSEs and a grade 8 in Maths. I have some prior tutoring experiences as well so I hope I will be able to use it all to help you get your target grades for any exam. I teach mathematics at all levels, from basic algebra for school students to calculus for university students. The students can choose the course to be either a homework-aid, or revision on the learnt material, or previewing on some new knowledge that they will need, or even some more adavanced stuff. Not only will I keep the student practicing with various and but not tedious task, but I will also teach how to tackle and think mathematically. I could also teach physics for school level.

I am a 26 year old Mathematics and Philosophy student at Leiden University and I have been tutoring Maths B privately since 2019. Teaching is one of my passions. Over the years I have often seen that many students who have difficulty with math can easily pass if we practice together enough and I explain the material to them in a slightly different way than they are used to.

In day to day life especally in technical related subjects you will find practical use of the Pythagoras theorem. For example a carpenter when a house is being build, who uses the 3,4,5 rules to allign doors and window 90 degees straight up. How does this work? The carpenter prepares three beams with lenghts 3, 4 and 5 meter, or other lengths with the same ratio like 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 meter. How does he use these beams to align the door or window? He creates a triangle with 1.5m vertical, 2 m horizontal and 2.5 meter sloped. What do you see. The 1.5m length beam is exactly straight up, and can be used to align the door or window to the correct position.

I have worked as a high school math teacher since 2006 in different countries. I have been teaching mainly the UK curriculum. I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive learning atmosphere. In addition, I utilize weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness, and prepare students for finals exams.

Cooking: This class is for both those who are afraid of causing an accident in the kitchen and those who wish to impress with tasty and easy recipes. The focus will be given on basic cooking skills and food preparation, low-budget and fast cooking perfect for small households or students. Greek: As a native Greek speaker and a University graduate I can teach grammar, vocabulary and writing skills in Greek as well as speaking. The lesson can be taught either in English or if preferred just in Greek.

I studied the University of Mathematics and I have an experience of over 7 years in teaching mathematics to children. I'm passionate about children's development and mathematics, hence I'm combining the two to motivate children and to explain through various methods adjusted to their way of thinking and understanding.
