Hello! I’m Miguel, a 22 year-old musician/singer/songwriter, based in London. I’ve been studying music theory and professional violin since I was 4 years old. I started as an orchestra player and went to music school till I was 18, when I started writing and composing my own material. I’d love to share some of the knowledge I’ve gathered through the years with you guys, whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience in the area, I’d love to help in any way I can to increase your abilities and achieve your musical goals. I can travel to your location on specific days of the week, but also offer online sessions if needed

I offer piano lessons for all levels. 7 years of teaching experience in conservatories, music schools and in business. I have a very good contact with children. I am demanding but gentle and very patient. I believe that one learns by listening, I am present to allow this listening to be at the center of the course and thus accompany the student on the path of music. I adapt to the need, the desire and the receptivity of each one. The well-being of the student is essential for progress in confidence and joy. The development of listening to the inner song is at the heart of my teaching. For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition. For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages. I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom. I also offer improvisation, harmony, lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

I am a professional pianist who has studied in St Petersburg Conservatory (in Russia) and at the moment work as a pianist, organist and concertmaster in different locations and I am willing to share my knowledge with people who have a passion for music. Ableton Live is a powerful production tool used by some of the top producers in the world, but the opportunity to learn how to compose using it is something very few producers learn. This class focusses on understanding and implementing various production techniques using Ableton and could even help you produce like your favourite artist! Prior knowledge of music/instruments is helpful but not necessary.

Nedelina has over 6 years of teaching experience with students from age 4 to 65 in guitar, piano and ukulele, and preparing them for Trinity and ABRSM exams. Thus far, her students have achieved distinctions in multiple graded exams, including gaining admission into the Junior Trinity programme. In addition to individual teaching, she has designed and created original teaching materials, including an instrumental guitar book for ensemble playing. As a current music teaching assistant and guitar tutor, she organises, manages and provides classroom music lessons to over 80 students from various backgrounds.
