My name is Sofija and I am a pianist currently studying at Conservatorium Maastricht. I believe that music helps us to develop skills and qualities such as patience, accuracy and sensitivity that we all need in our daily life. It can be also a great way to connect to other people or to yourself. In the lessons we will focus on your needs and wishes both if you are a beginner or an advanced player. My goal would be to make a beginner feel comfortable with features such as good orientation in the scores and on the keyboard, musical and rhythmical playing, basic technical skills and knowledge of musical terminology. With an advanced player we will further develop their own interpretation and musical ideas. Lessons can be taught in English, Czech or Russian. Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Therefore teaching methods and materials will always be chosen in consultation with the student. I have worked in music schools with children and I have taught private lessons for 5 years dealing with people of all ages. Lessons can be given in Spanish or English and it is also possible to give in my location, in yours, or by online too. It is never too late to do something you really want to do!
