Creative Writing - learn to write and shape your talent

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
You can't learn to write ... Because it's a talent and a person is born with it. I can only help you to recognize, shape and tailor this talent - depending on whether you are writing short stories, texts for the Internet, advertising, slogans or just for yourself and "your soul".

About Me

My students describe me as a teacher who is fun, teaches interactively and gives specific guidelines.
The lessons are classically structured and the students have a good basis on which they can further expand their vocabulary and knowledge. I emphasize the practical use of language, dialogue and the specific use of terminology - depending on the purpose and reason why someone chooses to learn a specific language. The approach is classic I would say, but it gives results.
Aside from my love of foreign languages, I have been translating and writing for many years (I am the author of several books and one dictionary). I have been working with words and languages all my life...

Education

- University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece, diploma in education and social policy (corresponds to special education), grade: very good: 7.65
- “IEK” Vocational School of Thessaloniki, Greece, diploma in graphic design

Experience / Qualifications

Experience in private lessons: over 10 years, translator, owner of the translation / consulting Agency in Thessaloniki (2001-2013), author (author of the Serbian-Greek dictionary of scientific terminology with more than 40,000 words and phrases, co-author of a book about Social policy, co-author of the book “Limitless”, author of the book “Moj si tip” and ´´Hier und jeztz´´).

Reviews (1)

Natasa really does an amazing job and tries to do the lessons accordinng to your goals.
In my life I have been fortunate to have two mother tongues - and both are very important to me. The lessons I give are interactive, with many examples from everyday life, structured in a classic way, but with a lot of interesting texts. In this way the students get to know the history and mentality of this country. With the necessary reference to grammar, of course, which represents the structure of every language. I offer a well-structured basis on which the students can later build on their knowledge.

Planning on studying law? Want to know more about how the law works? Want to know how to write like a lawyer? Then this class is for you!
Hello! My name is Christian and I am a qualified solicitor back in my home country of New Zealand.I've recently moved to London and before I embark on my next professional adventure, I thought it might be a nice time to give back some of the knowledge I've collected over my studies and professional experience. I took great satisfaction when I helped my younger brother during his legal studies (and even more so when I admitted him to become a lawyer). I spent many years trying to grasp what the law is, how to write a 'legal opinion', how to write 'like a lawyer' - even how to 'think like a lawyer'. Surprisingly, all thise things are actually quite helpful even if you don't want to become a lawyer. Understanding the law can help you know your rights better, it can help you solve problems more logically, it can help you write more concisely and more persuasively. Anywhere you go or whatever you want to do, somewhere along the line the law will be involved - if ever so slightly. And the best part is, there is always more to learn! Even the finest judges, or the most distinguished King's Counsel don't know everything about the law (although they;d be pretty bloody close). So let me know whether you're studying law and want some help with your studies, whether you want to improve your writing or negotiating skills, whether you want to learn abit more about the law that affects you, or whether you want to know what its' like working as a lawyer. There are no silly questions in my class! (Please note that this class is not and cannot be constituted as 'legal advice', it is for educational purposes only!) Look forward to meeting you all, Christian Oh and if I haven't selected available times that would suit you better, please drop me a line and I'll see what can be arranged.

English: Communication, Vocabulary, creative writing
In my typical communication and writing class, I focus on engaging students through a hands-on, interactive approach. I believe in fostering an environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas. My classes often begin with a brief introduction to the day’s topic, whether it’s vocabulary building, sentence structure, or crafting compelling narratives. I encourage participation by incorporating group discussions, writing exercises, and real-life examples to make the content relatable. During the lessons, I emphasize clarity, coherence, and creativity in writing. I guide students on how to effectively organize their thoughts and use precise vocabulary to convey their messages. We analyze various writing styles, dissecting passages to understand tone, style, and purpose. Feedback is a crucial part of the process, so I regularly provide constructive criticism, helping students identify areas for improvement while celebrating their strengths. I also prioritize practical application, encouraging students to write short pieces during class, which we review together. This allows them to immediately apply what they’ve learned and improve through practice. By the end of the class, my goal is for students to leave feeling more confident in their communication skills and inspired to continue refining their writing abilities.
