Developing confidence as a girl is difficult. This course teaches girls to replace unhelpful thinking patterns, fear of failure, and the tendency to hold back using mental tools they can use in any situation. This course girls learn what it means to be oneself, express that confidently, the ingredients for becoming confident, a little about their neurology and brain development, taking safe risks and how to navigate the unhelpful world of social media. Research shows that what makes a confident boy does not make a confident girl, the recipe is quite different. The most pivotal time for a girl to learn how to develop confidence is between ages of 6-12 years of age, as after studies show that girls confidence levels drop dramatically and remain lower than boys and men until late in life.This is a practical, fun, engaging course that will help your nieces, daughters, students and friends embrace their amazing imperfect powerful young self. Being in my second year of university and persuing psychology beyond the classroom, I would love to share my passion for the subject. Psychology is a highly interesting subject that provides more life skills and advice than other subjects. I understand that with the subject, there’s a lot of content to revise and remember and therefore I’d love to make this easier to understand to allow students to reach their highest potential whilst enjoying the content taught.
