This project-based course teaches Autodesk Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM) and is taught by an experienced educator with experience in both online and in-person tutoring. Students will gain knowledge of BIM workflows, manage views and documentation, design and edit architectural elements, and navigate Revit. Participants will be able to create professional documentation and fundamental architectural models at the end of the program. The course is also customizable based on students needs and will be catered to what they are trying to achieve.

My name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist. I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others. This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market. The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases: Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests. Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches. Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators. Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), traditional animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, creative writing, and music (the art of songwriting). A Purposeful, Transparent Approach I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. In these neuro-divergent times, the binary division of "one language or two" in bilinguals is perhaps due some contestation, which students are capable of providing. I have always found bilingual production models (and the ubiquitous Powerpoint slide) that university teachers provide a hindrance because of their lack of explicitness and discussion - they are just not relatable as presented nor do they provide much information or examples for monolingual students. Code-switching, a by-product of bilingualism, is now a term that is even found in minority-ethnic neighbourhood grafitti ("can white people code-switch" a found example). Please note that this is a linguistic term, used for switching between two languages, and not between local or social varieties of English. My personal position is that there is no such thing as bilingualism: there is always a language that suffers attrition, and one language that prevails, mostly because of its prestigious standing over the other language. On the other hand, a child exposed to more than one language cannot be truly monolingual. For this course (very popular at universities around Europe both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) we shall go through the terms used to discuss bilingualism, in detail, and then discuss, with the help of published books and articles, who can be considered bilingual (or are we all, one other language lying dormant?). Can bilingualism be defined by the speaker, instead of the "community"? Can it be imposed by the State? Does a bilingual brain function in the same manner as a monolingual brain? These are research questions that emerge as dissertation or thesis topics both at undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
