Dorian is a seasoned trumpet teacher and performer with over 20 years of experience. He has a BM in Music Education, MM in Trumpet Performance, worked 5 years as a Music Director and lead trumpet player on Carnival Cruise lines and has continued freelance trumpet lifestyle. He now teaches trumpet online and from his home studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is also the owner of Triplo Press, one of the world’s largest publishing companies of trumpet ensemble music. In addition, he runs trumpet clinics for schools, where he teaches students how to improve their sound, endurance, jazz skills, ensemble playing, and trumpet ensemble creation. Some of his former students have been accepted to prestigious music schools such as University of North Texas, Oberlin, and Ithaca.

My name is Marcel, I am a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (KCB), and I teach trumpet, cornet or bugle (in French, Dutch, English or Spanish) for all levels and all ages. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, I adapt to the level, affinities and objectives of each one by relying on my own experience: a mix of solid classical and academic knowledge, but also an openness to other musical genres, especially jazz.
