I've recently finished my Music Education degree (perfect timing, right?) so I'm looking to fill my schedule with more students. My main instrument is the guitar, classical variant, but I have a vast experience in acoustic guitar, mainly rock/grunge styles (although I am familiar with many genres). I can also introduce you to bass guitar, drums, and piano/keyboards. And of course, everyone's favourite, Music Theory! My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease.
