My name is Lauren I am a violist and composer based in Schöppingen, Germany. I received my Bachelors Degree in Viola Performance at The Juilliard School in 2019, and have since taught music lessons online and in-person since 2013. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 3-80. I teach classical music, improvisation, even electronics, if that is of interest. I have studied Alexander Technique, and always emphasize the importance of physical health and comfort in my instrumental teaching. My work is focused on listening (what to hear, how to listen well), expression (producing sound, what do we want to "tell" with his instrument through a given music) and sensations (posture , how to hold your instrument well ...).
