Ableton user, and more recently Bitwig, I produce electronic music for 10 years and have released many singles / EP, but also an album under several different labels. I also performed many performances in Toulouse, Lyon, Bordeaux and Marseille. Classes are accessible for all levels, and can be adapted according to the needs of the student: composition of music from samples and what creative treatments can be applied, and / or practice of sound synthesis via a panel of Subtractive / FM digital synthesizers. Classes will focus on the creation of a music from A to Z with theoretical but mostly practical parts, from its composition through editing, mixing and finally the Mastering and eventually its marketing, but can be based on creations made by the student.

My name is Roman and I have been a composer of electronic music for about ten years. A multi-instrumentalist, I began my musical adventure by playing the guitar and then the piano. After obtaining my Brevet d'Études Musicales, I trained in Computer-Assisted Music (MAO), composition, audio mixing and mastering techniques. I work on Ableton Live software. Today, as an artist-author, I regularly partner with other artists and contribute to a wide variety of live performance and music-for-image projects. For the 2024-2025 season, I am participating in several artistic residencies and stage performances. I have basic and advance courses, on both platforms, available to support your intentions and ideas or just develop your skills as a basic, intermediate or advanced media composer. Lessons are based in my fully kitted out production studio in Nadodrze, running FLStudio, and are catered either to an area you want to focus, or the entire skillset involved in professional music production/performance. As a jazz trained piano player, band member, composer and producer, I've had the pleasure of performing my works across Europe to crowds of all sizes, age ranges, and tastes. With six years of self taught production and industry knowledge under my belt, I've been fortunate enough to play clubs, festivals, and international shows with my music, and have released music on a wide expanse of award winning electronic labels, such as Low Down Deep, Billegal Beats, Kingdom Audio, in the Lab Recordings, and more. For over 10 years I've tutored people of all ages and abilities in different musical fields. All from classical music to mixing your own pieces and songs. I am able to teach theory, composition and playing music from young children to adult syllabus study. I have Music and Music Technology qualifications and have been playing and writing music the majority of my life. I will use my knowledge and experience to benefit you in whatever your need is if that’s exam prep or just interested in the subject. :)

My lessons are aimed at teaching a method that can allow student's autonomy in using Max/MSP programming language and the Gen/Gen~ environment. The neophyte can benefit from a practical method, which focuses on the constant exchange between theory and practice; the advanced student will benefit from the refinements of their practice in patch design. Ideally, the student will be able to be independent in some months. Students can expect partial covering of DSP topics for music. If needed, a specific lesson can be requested. Students are invited to present their works and patches, and can expect to discuss them in detail. Students are expected to be present for each scheduled class, not late, and to avoid a rude or disrespectful behavior. DISCLAIMER I am learning Dutch as for September 2024.
